Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of GoUP. By submitting a listing, starting a checkout, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the published Rules.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and make the payment you submit. Public leaderboard use does not require a user account. Administrative accounts are private and may only be used by authorized GoUP operators.

2. The GoUP service

GoUP operates a public competitive leaderboard for eligible internet projects and profiles. Each listing has a score equal to its cumulative successfully confirmed payments, minus amounts refunded or reversed.

3. Listings

You must provide an eligible destination and have the right to submit a new listing or represent it. You may add to an existing public listing's score. GoUP may import and correct public metadata such as a name, description, and icon. Listing content remains the responsibility of its owner or operator.

4. Payments and score

A payment increases the selected listing's score only after authoritative server-side confirmation. Amounts are charged in US dollars through the hosted payment provider. GoUP receives transaction identifiers and payment metadata needed to reconcile the order, but does not receive full card details.

5. Ranking

Active listings are ordered by score from highest to lowest. If scores are equal, the listing that reached its current score first ranks higher; the listing ID is the final tie-breaker. A pre-checkout position is an estimate based on the board at that time. The confirmed position may differ if the board changes before the payment is applied.

6. No fixed position duration

No position is permanent or reserved for a fixed duration unless GoUP expressly states otherwise. A listing moves whenever another eligible listing reaches a higher score under the Rules.

7. No performance guarantee

A payment changes a leaderboard score. GoUP does not sell or guarantee any fixed number of impressions, clicks, visitors, leads, customers, sales, conversions, revenue, or other commercial result. Outbound click counts, where shown, are observational analytics and are not purchased units.

8. Refunds, reversals, and chargebacks

Refund requests are reviewed under the circumstances of the transaction, applicable law, and payment-provider rules. Being surpassed by another listing is an expected leaderboard event, not a service failure and not an automatic basis for a refund. Duplicate, unauthorized, or technically failed payments should be reported promptly. Refunds, partial refunds, reversals, and chargebacks reduce the affected listing's score and may change its rank. Fraudulent chargebacks or abuse may lead to suspension.

9. Prohibited conduct and moderation

You may not submit prohibited content, impersonate others, manipulate click metrics, commit payment fraud, probe or disrupt the service, bypass access controls, or interfere with ranking and payment systems. GoUP may reject, hide, suspend, remove, or request verification for any listing. A moderation action does not erase transaction records or automatically decide a refund request.

10. Intellectual property

You keep any rights you hold in submitted listing material. You grant GoUP a limited permission to display, resize, cache, and link the submitted name, description, logo, and destination as needed to operate the leaderboard. You may not submit material you have no right to use.

11. Third-party destinations and services

Listings lead to third-party destinations that GoUP does not control or endorse. Checkout, analytics, hosting, authentication, and other infrastructure may be provided by third parties under their own terms and data-use practices.

12. Availability and changes

GoUP may maintain, limit, change, or discontinue features and may update the Rules or these Terms. We will post the revised date on this page. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

13. Disclaimers and liability

GoUP is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. To that same extent, GoUP is not responsible for third-party destinations, decisions made from displayed analytics, or indirect losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Termination

You may stop using GoUP at any time. GoUP may restrict access or remove content when required to enforce these Terms, protect users or systems, comply with law, or respond to provider requirements. Provisions that must reasonably survive termination, including payment records and dispute handling, remain effective.
